Is there anything as exciting for a writer, and readers who have been waiting, as a book release? This is my 7th, and while the first acceptance letter may have been the only one that actually made me scream out loud, each time I know readers will get to meet my newest characters, I'm a happy wahine.
Of course that's because I'm such a serial monogamist (some people would call it slutty). I fall madly in love with every single one of my heroes!
And the Ho'omalu brothers are no exception. First I fell like a ripe papaya for David when he strode into my consciousness, down the slopes of his Big Island volcano. One flashing smile from his sweet, handsome Hawaiian mug, a flex of those big muscles and I fell right at his feet, like all the other female tourists he's charmed. It wasn't easy to turn him over to Melia, but I did, because she's his heroine after all.
Then I met his older brother. And David ... um, David who? Melia can have him. Of course he'll always have a corner of my heart, but Daniel--holy aloha! These two may be brothers, but they're as different as night and day. David never met a stranger, while Daniel holds everyone but his family at arms length. And those are some pretty impressive arms.
