Dubois Thanksgiving Wishes

Thanksgiving is celebrated in a big way at the Dubois house. Hubby and I cook a traditional turkey dinner together for our family and friends with all the trimmings, including a huge plate of ravioli like my grandmother used to make. We bake our own pumpkin and blueberry pies. (Pumpkin pictured below, fresh from the Dubois oven.) Dress is casual, watching football is allowed, and snoozing on the sofa after the meal is as much a tradition as the bird.

Ours is a multi-cultural, multi-racial group. We are Caucasian, African American, and Asian. Some of us were born in our small Pennsylvania town. Others come from the mid-west or nearby cities. Our ages range from young to very old. We are the true melting pot of America. On Thanksgiving Day, we celebrate the unwavering love we have for our country and one another.

I wish you all a peaceful, bountiful Thanksgiving.

Best~Adele
